"Mare" from Piet Morgenbrodt

"Mare"

Description:"Mare" ist ein windbewegtes Objekt mit ruhiger, kontemplativer Bewegungs-Charakteristik.
Die Senkrechte wird unten von einem längs durchbohrten Kantholz gebildet, aus dem sich ein ehemals 30 mm starkes eisernes Rundprofil nach oben verjüngt. Eine Schmiedearbeit von etwa 3 m Länge. Auf der Spitze dreht sich der Aufleger frei in einer kleinen Vertiefung und beschreibt in der Höhe einen Kreis von etwa 4,8 m im Durchmesser. Die Sandsteine stammen (bis auf einen) alle aus dem südlichen Teil der Insel Gotland und weisen natürliche Löcher auf.

The second exhibition of kinetic wind sculptures at an idyllic village close to the delta of the river Lübeck St. Petersburg and and the Lübeck bay. It is proposed to repeat it every year.
